Blue Skater:  Initial skater takes a shot on goal, then travels behind the goal to pick up a new puck.  He travels up along the boards with the puck and finishes by making an east-west pass to Green skater. (Gets in the back of green line)

Green Skater:  As Blue picks up the puck, the first green skater in line skates directly at him and curls to match his direction and speed.  Blue passes to green, then green skates and passes to orange.  (Gets in the back of orange line)

Orange Skater: Like green, skates towards the rush, and curls towards the boards waiting to get the second pass from green.  Orange then skates forward towards the far net and takes over Blue's role.

The initial progression of this can eliminate the orange skater, and green simply skates forward to shoot and take on blue's role.  The initial progression is intended for players to see the timing and spacing to make the passes well supported.

Forwards line up on one board; defense line up on other board.

On whistle, 3 forwards go and skate a figure 8 pattern around dots or cones.

As they come through the neutral zone, one picks up an area pass from a coach, and then they attack 3v2.

Two lines facing each other at blue line and goal line, aligned with face off dot. Player at position 1 (blue line) starts skating with a puck towards first player at position 2 (goal line) Skater passes to postion 2, who passes back while skater keeps approaching. Skater then touch-passes it back to position 2. Skater then turns up to skate along the boards. Once they're at the hash-marks, player at position 2 passes it back to skater. Skater catches the puck, gets it under control, and passes it to the next player at position 1, then skates to the high slot Player at position 1 passes to player at position 2 Player at position 2 passes to skater in the slot Skater shoots Player at position 2 moves to back of line of position 1; skater moves to back of line at position 2.

Move net to face corner (avoid zam door corner), players line up creating a line between the post and the walls. They are the walls of the gauntlet - keep the puck inside, but no passing or shooting.

Two players start in the corner, and the coach sends in a puck.  The two players battle for it, both trying to gain control and shoot the puck on the goalie.  Play continues until the puck is scored or leaves the gauntlet.  The coach may yell "new puck" and start again with the same players.

Phase 1:  Line up - 3 forwards along center line, two sets of D on each blue line. 

Phase 2:  Breakout - coach throws the puck into one zone, and the closest D (red) goes in to retrieve it and break it out to the forwards.

Phase 3:  Regroup - the forwards skate into the NZ and pass to the other D (green).  D makes a partner pass to the other D, who then sends it forward to the forwards who are curling.  

Phase 4:  The 3 forwards then attack, 3v2 against the original D.

As soon as phase 4 clears the NZ, the next set lines up to go in the opposite direction.  The regroup D (green) stays and becomes the B/O D.
