Panarin & Kuznetsov Give and Go's That Led to Goals

https://vimeo.com/425219730/33ac6abcaa

The clips above show two examples of passing and moving to open space, which is commonly known as Give and Go or Pass and Move.

What to Watch:

  1. Head UpKeep your head up so you know where your teammates are and where the open space is.
  2. Explode to Space: As soon as you pass the puck to your teammate, explode to open space and be ready to receive the puck back. You can also add in deception to make the other team think you are going a different way and then explode to the opposite direction (this is shown in the Panarin example).
  3. Speed Is Hard to Defend: The faster you can go to the opening the better because you can catch the other team flat footed (this is shown in the Kuznetsov example).
