Selecting drills for your tryouts is a very important element of your tryout.  The drills should allow you to evaluate players on specific criteria that you want to evaluate.  A few good terms to focus on are skating, skills, smarts, and compete level.  If you can find some drills that will allow you to evaluate players in these areas then you hava a good start.  Here are some drills that incorporate one or more of these elements.
