The Give and Go Shooting station is setup to help players practice passing, moving after a pass, and shooting.
Setup
- Setup a 1/4 area station with a goalie and a net.
- Extra players & pucks at the blue line.
- Player 1 passes to player 2, who passes back to player 1. Then player one passes to player 3, who gives it back to player 1 for a quick release shot.
- After the shot, player 1 becomes 3, 3 becomes 2, and 2 goes to the end of the line.
Coaching Points
- Have stick on the ice to let your teammates know where you want the puck.
- Move! right after you pass the puck.
- Work on one-touch passing and quick release shots.
Variations
- Can set up the passing players in different areas.
- Can add a coach or player in the middle of the playing area that the players must pass & skate around.
