Here is a great example of shooting deception from the point by Sabres defenseman Owen Power.
What to Watch
- Puck goes low to high in the offensive zone and lands on the stick of Owen Power
- As Power sets up to deliver the puck on net he has his eyes up scanning the ice in front of him
- Using his body language he deceives the defenders by showing shot & moving sticks/bodies before delivering a weak side shot pass that ends in a goal
