Aho's Off-Hand One-Timer Scores on Power Play

Here is a great example of how some of the best players execute a one-timer on their off-hand. In this case Aho one-times it past Saros on the power play.
What to Watch
- Notice the position of the stick blade, it is perpendicular to the direction the puck is going and flat on the ice.
- This allows more of the stick blade to make contact with the puck and get more "wood" on the shot.
- His bottom hand slides down the shaft to help give him leverage and strength on the stick off a hard pass.
- His hand are away from his body.
- He also adjusts his body as needed by almost going down on his left knee to make sure his stick blade is flat on the ice.
