
IHS is proud to announce Marty Wilford as a new contributor to IHS as part of The Knowledge Bridge series with the NHL Coaches’ Association.
Marty Wilford is the Assistant Coach of the Buffalo Sabres of the NHL. His coaching career began in 2011, having joined the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL as an Assistant Coach. Marty spent seven seasons in the AHL with Syracuse, Norfolk, and San Diego before being promoted to Anaheim as an Assistant Coach in 2018. As a player, Marty played 14 professional seasons in the AHL, IHL and in Europe.
